how to add button in primary navigation and mobile off canvas pannel

I tried the documentation guides but no changes I found on my website. I don't know which things I am missing to do it please guide how to add a button.

Can you specify which part of the primary navigation do you want to insert the button?
There are many ways to add buttons to the primary navigation.
One way is through a Block Element hooked to generate_inside_navigation which adds a button on the left side of the primary navigation. Or use the generate_after_primary_menu hook if you want to add it on the right side.
You can add buttons as a widget through Appearance > Widgets. You can place the button on the Header Widget area.
I want to add a button on the right side of the primary menu.

Let me know if that works or you need to insert a Button that has a different function to the a normal menu item.
