I’ve tried looking through the forum to find an answer but could not. It seems like it should be simple. I went to background images area in ‘Customize’, but there is nowhere to add a link, so when some clicks it, it takes them back to the homepage. that’s all I want really.

    Hi there,

where is the background image being added ? Is it to the body of the site ?
If you can share a link to the site you wan’t it applied to as well and we’ll see whats required.

Hi there, it is being added to the header area. I have included the website below in private area.

    Hi Jason,

I’m not sure that’s the neater way of doing it.

If I may suggest, consider removing the background image on the header and instead, insert a Block Element that contains an image link of your linking, hooked to generate_before_header.

It’s better this way because you have full control of the element instead of trying the “hacky” way of changing default HTML structure of the theme’s header.
