How Do I Make H1 title Bold in Gutenberg?

Hi,

I've started using Gutenberg and discovered the Title is now the default heading. If I add an H1 Heading and disable the Title, I get a warning from Yoast about having more than one H1 Heading in the post.

I don't normally use the Title as the H1 Heading.

Can I just disable the Title, create my own H1 Heading (I've discovered how to do this) and ignore Yoast's warning? Or does Mr Google get angry?

If I'm forced to use the Title as the H1 Heading (grrrr), how do I make the Title bold?

Thanks.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I did that (as I used to in the old editor) and added my own H1 Heading. The problem is Yoast thinks I now have two H1 Headings in the one post... even though I've disabled the default title.

Not sure whether this is a big deal SEO-wise or not? If so, I guess I'll have to use the default title as my H1 Heading (which I don't want to). If this is the case, how do I make the default title bold?

If not, I'll ignore Yoast and carry on as normal!

It's likely that Yoast just isn't able to tell one of them is disabled.

If you only have one title on the live page, you're good to go :)

Great, thanks Tom!

No problem :)
