How do I get rid of the giant theme logo/image on my home page?

I've tried everything but the huge Welcome to Wordsmith theme logo (header?) on my home page won't go away. It's right under my menu. Help!

Hi there
its a Header Element. Go to Appearance > Elements you will see a Header Element in there. you can either edit the content of the header or delete it.

Odd, can you check to see if there are any other Header Elements that contain that text? If so then delete that one as well :)
