[Support request] How do I change the 'Permalink' of my posts?

Hi there,

Thank you for your time in advance. I’m wondering if I can take out the 2018/08/12 section from my posts’ permalink.

It currently shows as: /2018/08/12/”name of post” and I’d like it to show /”name of post”. I’ve looked but am new to WP and couldn’t seem to figure it out. I’m sure you’ll post a resource and I’ll feel dumb for asking (haha).

Hi Kyle,

I would recommend looking into a plugin like YoastSEO.

It should be able to give you better control over things like permalinks.
