How do I change the hero header image on Grill template?

Hi there,

Grill is using a Block Element - Page Hero.
Go to Appearance > Elements and edit the element titled Global Hero

Thanks, I watched the video and read the documentation, but it's not really helped.

The image is different in 'Global Hero', it's the steak and veg one, not the salad bowl one on the homepage and I have replaced it in Global Hero already, but nothing changed.

Can you link us to the site in question? to check.

Perhaps the site is using a caching plugin that cached the URL path of the previously set background image and that's still the one being used.

It's also possible that you have multiple Header element and you've replaced the wrong one. It can get quite confusing when there's a long list of elements.

I have since found where to change this image and it was in 'Featured Image' on the 'Edit page', not in 'Elements - Global Hero'.

That's correct because the background image for Grill's Block Element - Page Hero is set to be dynamic taken from a post or page's featured image as shown here - https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLukD4mw
