How customize Menu navigation

Hello,
I am building my first web site, and to do it I use WordPress and the GeneratePress theme premium.
I would like to change the menu alignment and the color when user is on menu cell....
now, it is black but I would like it will be not a color but just underlined in red for example....
What is the correct way to do it ? is it possible with GeneratePress or I must download another plugin ?

Hi there,
you can adjust menu alignment etc in Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation.
To create an underline will require a little CSS - we provide some CSS here to create a cool hover effect:
