How can i remove post date and author name from the blog post?

Thank you for your reply. This removes post date and author name from the post excerpt. But, when I click on the read more button and the full post opens, then post date and author name appears just under the title and I can't remove from there.

in the Blog Layout settings you will see an Archive tab and a Single Tab. Just click the Single tab and make the changes.
