How can I make my tags an image?

how can I make my meta-entry > tags-links be images in post list?
for example I have a car tag and show me an icon of a car instead of the text

Hi there,
I'm not actually sure if this is possible.
If each tag had a class specific to the tag (they don't by default), you could use CSS to target each one of them manually and add an image.
However, that would be a lot of manual work, and I'm not sure it's possible to add a class to each tag. It might be worth asking over on https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/.
