How can I have my blogs on a custom homepage?

I want my home page to feature my blogs. At present its a static page with a separate blog page.

I need a header with a call to action button with 3 images and links below.

I cant download a screenshot but this site Camper Report has the layout Im after.

I have followed the GP tutorial for adding a hero image but I need to use HTML code to make it look good.

Thats not something I know about.

I cant seem to make my page builder (beaverbuilder) work on my blog page either so at present so Im stuck.

Can you advise me how to overcome this problem please.
