Homepage - using Elementor page - how to get rid of "Split" homepage header

I installed the 'Split' theme from the site library where the main homepage body is the "Let's Work Together" with the two buttons. I can't find anywhere on the dashboard where I can edit the copy of that body. And I would actually like to just get rid of it to just show my elementor page. When I direct the homepage to a page I built with Elementor it includes that "Let's Work Together" body above. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance for any insight.
