Home Page Transparent Sticky Navigation Menu Bug?

Hello,

Thank you for all the terrific support! So I opened up various threads in regard to setting up this transparent sticky navigation on my home page only. I set up custom page header, css, and menu settings in the customizer. All was working good, or so I thought until I cleared my cache and now the menu is only transparent at first loading the page- as soon as you scroll it goes solid :(

Another thing is there seems to be a hover background color effect for the menu that wasn't there before. Only the text is supposed to change color on hover.
