Home page container inconsistent with rest of site

On this staging site you can see the home page differs from the other pages: https://lamppostsites.com
I'm sure I have a wrong setting somewhere or a block gone awry, but try as I might I just can't find it! Thanks for any help.
Hi Jonathan,
Your homepage is set to full width.
You can check the settings:
1. In the page editor > layout meta box, if the content container is set to full width, change it to default.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-metabox-overview/#where-is-it
2. Go to appearance > elements, check if there's a layout element assigned to front page which set the content container to full width.
Let me know :)
Hmmm. I had checked that and just checked again, thoroughly, and the settings are identical on the homepage as on the other pages. The master container blocks are set to full width for the container with the inner container set to contained, but it is that way for all the pages. And when I changed all to contained to test, it made no difference.
I did have a layout element assigned to the entire site, but I turned that off altogether to test and it too did not affect it. So I'm still stumped!
I'm not talking about the container bocks, but the page settings, you can find the setting in the page editor:

Okay, working now, thanks.
None of the page settings helped, but I created a new element that worked. But it was interesting. When I set content area to "contained (no padding)" it fixed the homepage but broke the spacing on the other pages, leaving no padding on the top and right. But when I set content area to "default" all the pages began working fine. You would think they would use the default anyway.
But no matter, it's working and that's what counts, thanks.
None of the page settings helped
Do you mean the layout metabox is greyed out?
If so, it means there's a layout element is active for the homepage.
You need to check the layout element's display rule as well to avoid conflicts.
Let me know if there's any issue occurs :)
Oh, I see the layout metabox now. It was at the bottom, not at the side where I expected it. That has tricked me before. (Earlier I was looking at the layout for my big container block.)
Thanks for persisting. This makes sense now.
You are welcome :)
Sometimes the layout metabox might be dragged to the bottom by accident.
