Hide Images In Excerpt for Blog Post Content

I want my featured image to display but the same image is also at the top of each of my blog posts and when I select show Excerpt the first image is being displayed and I only want the featured image and text from the blog to show

Can you double check?
Sorry I switched back to my original theme becasue the gp looked so bad. Do i need to switch over for you to answer the ?
I'm not exactly sure what the issue was but have you tried these options first?
