Hide Element on WMPL pages

I have a site using wpml. I have created a footer hook element to hold a 4 column set of menus. I only want it to show on the English language pages, but using Exclude and selecting all Chinese pages isn't doing the trick.
Any ideas?

If you are using hooks, then make sure you use generate_hook_element_display.
