Header (Site Logo) only on specified pages, posts, categories, etc

I want to set custom headers (meaning images below my navigation) in Elements by specific page, post, category, etc, but I can only get this to work if first I upload a site logo in Customizer... But I don't want a header (site logo) everywhere ... I just want a header (site logo) on the specific pages, posts, and categories that I setup in Elements. Is this possible?
UPDATE: I may have figured out a solution ... Is this the best way?
1) Do not upload a site logo in Customizer
2) Create a new "Hook" in "header" and enter HTML for the desired image
3) Specify location rules

that sounds like a neat solution.
The simplest alternative with the Header Element would be to upload a invisible logo to the Customizer. like a 1 x 1px transparent PNG. It does mean an empty site logo markup is output.
