Header should not always load again.

Hi,
I have a "hungry" header slider, made with SMART-SLIDER-3.
Is there a way, that the header is only loaded ones?
Posts & pages should be handled like tabs.
Thanks and best regards,
Boris
Hi there,
I'm not sure what you mean by "only loaded ones?" and "handled like tabs"?
Can you explain a bit more?
Hi Leo,
thanks for your reply.
When I click links in the Primary Navigation, I like to stop GP to reload again the header.
Because the header is always the same.
Is there a way?
Best regards,
Boris
Still not quite sure what you mean.
So you want to remove the header on every page except the home page?
Can you provide an example?
Hi,
When I click links in the Primary Navigation.
I wish that GP is only loading the new content. It should handle it like containers.
And because the header is not changing, it should not always again be reloaded.
Do you understand now better my idea?
Thanks for your time,
The labels are:
"PROJECTS"
"ARCHIVE"
"RELEASE"
.....
Sorry I still don't understand you mean.
I think there is a misunderstanding on the word "header".
Are you referring to the "soundblocks" part?
Yes, the "soundblocks" part I call header.
Ok so you want that part to be removed on every page except home page?
Hi,
No sorry.
I will come back, when I have a better documentation.
Best
Hi Leo,
I have created a dummy page as an example:
....
The Tabs should be the Primary Navigation, the Tab-content should be my posts, pages, ...
As you can see: the "soundblocks-header" is not reloading when I click a Tab. So my page would be quicker working.
I like to do something like this with GP. Is this possible?
Thanks for your time.
Best regards,
Boris
It's possible, but it would involve quite a lot of custom coding, including a lot of javascript/AJAX to load pages without actually reloading the page. The amount of code is out of the scope of this forum, but you may be able to hire a contractor on Codeable who can pull it off for you.
Hi Tom and Leo,
thanks for the reply!
Best regards,
Boris
Glad we could help!
