Is there a way to make the menu with a white background when scrolling down, while keep a transparent one when at the top of the page ?
Hi there,
Take a look at this:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/#merge-with-header-elements
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/#site-header
Let me know if this helps :)
Nope... I don't know what I'm doing wrong but nothing is working as it supposed to be.
So you want to set the transparent color in header element, then the sticky navigation color will inherit from the settings in Customizer > Colors > Primary Navigation.
Make sure to clear your caching plugin when you make changes if you are using one.
Somehow managed to get the result, however, the logo is double.
Sticky > none when on top, double when scrolling down.
Sticky + Static > single when on top, single when scrolling down.
Static > single when on top, none when scrolling down.
If I delete the log in customizing > layout > primary navigation > navigation logo, I don't have the logo at all.
If I delete the logo in elements > my-custom-header > site header > navigation logo, it is good.
why there are so many options that do the same in so many different places?
Have you solved this?
I'm not seeing the double logo issue.
We've actually moved all the logo options to one place starting in GP Premium 1.8 :)
Yes, I've solved by deleting the logo from elements > my-custom-header > site header > navigation logo
Awesome :)
