Klaus
Hello,
the Header Elements that I created work fine on most of my pages. Unfortunaltely it does not work with woocommerce single product pages. I can select a product in the settings of Elements, but it seems to show the featured image as a header instead. Semms to be a bug.
I guess I should mention, that I have defined a “Single Product Element” as well (like I saw in one of your tutorial videos, a layout element for WC Single Products).
You can look here: https://apis.tools/produkt/stylus-dateneingabe-touchpen/
and here: https://apis.tools/produkt/arbeits-handschuh-fuer-imker/These are product pages but the header element is not shown.
Here it works as designed: https://apis.tools/warenkorb/
Every page has a custom header picture. The pages above should have the same picture.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
so all of the product pages should be showing a Custom Image?
If so then it sounds like a Display Rules conflict. Which display rules have you used for this page:

Hi, for these three pages I have selected the same rule (the same image), as I tried to prove my theory: there is a bug. As I wrote it may be, that there is a conflict between the “layout element” for single products and the header element for single products. Klaus

And I tried just now to disable the “layout element” for single products that I created. When disabling that element, there is no change. So it is not a conflict with that layout element. This is the first rule I set for a product page. So there should be a conflict hiding anywhere. I just found that it doesn’t work with “products”. Klaus

Sorry: So there should NOT be a conflict hiding anywhere.

StaffCustomer SupportDo you have any other header elements created?
May 10, 2019 at 5:54 am #895164Klaus
Yes.
May 10, 2019 at 5:59 am #895167Klaus
Yes and no.
I have a “Meta hook element”, for metas, I have a “Google Analytics hook” element, I have a “Font Awesome hook” Element. And 17 Header Elements as page headers. But none of these are involved with Woocommerce Pages.

StaffCustomer SupportSo i tested using a Custom Image background on a Single Product and it works.
I can only assume that one of your other Header Elements has a conflicting Display Rule.Example:
1st Header created = set to display on ALL PRODUCTS or ENTIRE SITE etc. ( ie a global location )
2nd Header created = set to display on 1 x specific product. For the 2nd header to display you would have to exclude the chosen specific product from the 1st Header.

And I don’t seem to have any Header Elements set with conflicting rules. Each Header seems to go to different posts, pages and categories.

StaffCustomer Supportwould you be willing to provide us with temporary admin access to the site so we can take a look?
If so you can send the login details via the Account Issue form here:https://generatepress.com/contact/
If you could add the URL of this topic to the form so we can track.

So the hook elements are set for the entire site. Only this one header is set to products and to the WC checkout. For your testing: you also need to set a product image, as the headers seem to draw from the product image.

Yes, I will send you my user credentials.

StaffCustomer SupportThat is not normal behaviour, here is a test site with products including images. If you select any product you will see they all have the same header element image:

I have sent my credentials. I’m exited to hear from you. Of course I also could check a plugin conflict first. Should I? I haven’t disabled the other plugins yet, to test?
