Header changes won't save

Hi,

I was working on changing the logo on my header but when I save it, it won't show. I also changed the alignment from centre to left but when I try to change it back, it won't save. Now, my header won't show any images and the alignment is stuck on the left.

I clear cached and viewed the site on incognito but to no avail.

I updated the GP plugin yesterday in case that helps. I added the site URL in the private form below.

Thanks for the help.

Mary

Hi there,

can you go to Customizer > Layout > Header and enable the Navigation as Header to see if that change occurs

Hi David,

I've tried that but still to no avail. The logo still doesn't show. While it forces the navigation menu to be in the right alignment, what I was aiming for is to have the logo on top of the menu and the nav to be on the centre. These have been the settings until I updated the logo after the GP plugin update, and now it doesn't save/work. The mobile setting is not affected though.

Thanks.

Mary

Hi David,

I also want to mention that my sidebar on the desktop is now at the bottom of the page/post instead of the right side. I checked my settings are right. I haven't changed it and it was working just fine a few days ago. I just noticed now that the sidebar is not placed properly for desktop. I added the URL so you can check below.

I should mention that my other sites that are running GP are fine, so Im not sure why it's happening on this specific site.

Thanks.

Can you disable your cache plugin and leave it disabled whilst we troubleshoot.
Then try to make the changes to the navigation/header.

Let me know.

Hi David,

I did that, but it's still not working. I tried to upload a new image for the logo to see if anything will happen, but nothing. Also, I'm not sure if you saw my other reply but here it is:

Can you leave the cache plugins disabled so i can see whats going on?

Hi David,

Yeah, I left the cache plugin disabled.

Thanks,

Mary

I am still seeing a lot of cached files on the site.
Can you provide temporary admin access so i can take a look at whats going on?

Hi David,

Not sure why, I'm using StackCache which comes with my hosting but it's been disabled. I added temporary credentials below.

Thanks,

Mary

Ok so i added a Logo to the Customizer > Site Identity and the logo is displaying in the navigation - you may want to change the logo image.

The sidebar is in the wrong place because of some broken HTML on the site.
The code you have in the Ad Inserter plugin starts with:

<center<div id="311847387">

Which should be:

<center><div id="311847387">

Correct that and it should fix the sidebar issue.

Hi David,

Amazing !!! Thank you so so much!

Mary

Happy to be of help!
