Header and Footer Builder?

I have a site at generatepress.michianait.net and just wondering if the GP team will be adding a header and footer builder like in Astra and Kadence?

Hi Mark,
You can already do so with the block element module.
Here is an example for the footer:

The header is somewhat limited right now as there isn't a navigation block available.
But if you don't want the navigation to be within the header then you can use the similar method with the block element as well.
