GP Social Settings Plug-in. Pinterest sharing problem.

I installed the plug-in GP Social Settings. I love how clean it displays, so awesome!
I am just using the share for facebook, pinterest and email. Testing them now and I am having a problem with the Pinterest sharing button not pulling up the image (in this case a desk).
I'm using this post to test, http://www.littledotbigdifference.com/intentional-living/
Facebook...it pulls in the desk image and looks great
Pinterest...I would expect the pop up to allow me to select the image of the desk and then choose the board I'd like to pin it do...rather I get a generic blog image and when I attempt to pin it I get a Pinterest error that says "Something Went Wrong" "You need to upload an image or provide the 'image_url' parameter"
Any ideas why the image would be pulled over and included when sharing to Facebook and not included for Pinterest? Not sure if this is a GP isssue or...? I hope this makes sense and I appreciate any help!
Thanks!
Hi there,
Sorry we don't have a plugin or feature called GP Social Settings.
Are you referring to this?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/gp-social-share-svg/
If so it's actually a third party plugin so you will need to contact the plugin developer :)
Let me know if this helps :)
Sorry, I assumed since the plugin started with GP that it was one of you that developed it. I apologize. Is there a method (plugin or something within Generate Press) that you recommend for sharing blog posts to social media?
Thanks, Kris
No problem!
It's definitely a bit misleading.
We don't really have a recommended one for this. The plugin author is quite active in our Facebook community though so probably doesn't hurt to give it a shot :)
Will do. Thank you!
No problem :)
