Hi,

I’m using a managed wordpress hosting. I cannot access the /wp-admin/customize.php whenever the GP Premium plugin is activated.

I get the following error when I click on Customize:

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I have gone through all my plugins and only GP Premium causes this issue.

Would appreciate any suggestions to solve this, thanks.

Thanks for the quick response.

I tried each module and 'Typography' seems to be the problematic one.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks

Hi there,

do you have any custom functions added to your site ?

Hi,

There are no custom functions added to my site.

Hi Hassan,

Any chance you can create a staging clone site and provide use temporary site credentials so we can conduct a backend investigation?

Also, can you provide your server's PHP version and your site's GP, GP Premium and WP versions?

You can use the private information text field to provide the details.

Hi Elvin,

Here are the details you requested:
PHP version: 7.3.28
WordPress version: 5.7.2
GP Premium version: 2.0.2
GP version: 3.0.3

I've created a staging clone site so you can conduct an investigation.

Thank you,

Can you disable all plugins in your staging site except GP Premium?

Thanks!

I deactivated all the plugins except GP Premium.

Feel free to make any changes you like in the staging area. The website there is of no value to me.

Thanks,

I disabled GP Premium and switched the theme to Twenty Twenty - then tried going to Tools > Site Health - and this throws the same critical error. It sounds like there is an issue with the WP Install.

Hi,

I have been following up with my webshost for the past week. The problem seems to have been related to the hosting. For that reason I am marking this as resolved.

Thank you for all your help.

Glad to hear you found the issue.
