Hey Tom,
So how do I correct those errors with Javascript? I’m not using any sidebar at the moment.
The shortcode IDs are shown for every elementor item I created in my library. If you have elemntor pro, than the actual shortcode appears, but I have the basic so I installed “anywhere elementor” plugin that simply shows the IDs on the right hand side. Basically, the shortcodes should just be working fine with GP hooks. They did actually worked at the beginning when I was trying out the hooks.
Thanks!September 17, 2017 at 11:09 am #386983ArmandoI deactivated all plugins except made for GP hooks, elementor, navmenu for elementor (which shows the menu on top and it was active while GP hooks worked, at the beginning).
Still not working though http://www.new.neighborhoodsun.solar/community/ – the home and learn more pages are the ones with the default template activated.September 17, 2017 at 12:25 pm #387004LeoStaffCustomer SupportThe console error is actually causing by navmenu add-on for elementor:

September 19, 2017 at 7:23 am #387985ArmandoHey, I contacted them, still no answer.
Anyway, the major issue is to make GP hooks work for me so the header and footer are the same across pages. After that, I can call the element ID in the “Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll” plugin settings, and the header will stick.
Thank you!September 19, 2017 at 8:10 am #388061LeoStaffCustomer SupportNo problem!
September 19, 2017 at 8:18 am #388069ArmandoSo I guess no solutions for that issue?

What’s not working?
September 19, 2017 at 11:02 am #388188ArmandoThat’s what this whole thread is about…
The header and footer don’t show on the website, if I put the code in the hooks the code itself will be shown.September 19, 2017 at 12:29 pm #388210LeoStaffCustomer SupportAll the pages I see are still using Elementor Canvas?
September 19, 2017 at 3:34 pm #388321ArmandoYes, when you wrote your last reply, all pages were using elementor canvas as the default template wasn’t working anyways.
Now I put this one page http://www.new.neighborhoodsun.solar/community/home-3/ to default template, header and footer still don’t show.
Thanks for your helpSeptember 19, 2017 at 4:03 pm #388338LeoStaffCustomer SupportDid you use this method? https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/gp-hooks-header-and-footer/#post-386105
September 19, 2017 at 4:47 pm #388347ArmandoI did, and wrote back to you that it wasn’t working.
I tried again just now, this is the page http://www.new.neighborhoodsun.solar/community/home-3/ in default template. I have 2 headers now as I’m experimenting with sizes of the menu, but you can see the shortcode on top, so it’s not working.September 20, 2017 at 7:57 am #388811TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you try contacting the Anywhere Elementor developer? I believe he uses GP himself, so he might know what’s going on. GP Hooks itself just writes a simple function for you which inserts the shortcode using some PHP, so if the shortcode works, it should work fine in GP.
If you put the same shortcode in the content of a test page, does it render?
September 25, 2017 at 8:10 pm #391954ArmandoIn the end I ended up using myStickymenu plugin, it works well apart from changing the size of the header content.
