I am looking to replace an animated GIF with an animation created in Google Web Designer (GWD). To publish, GWD provides an html file. What is the best way to incoporate a GWD animation?

Here is the test page I am working on. The animated GIF is currently just below the main navigation.

Hi Brenden,

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve.

Isn't the GIF is a image file?

Can you provide the html file so I can have a better understanding?

Sorry, that was not very clear. The current animated GIF is 750kb so I am trying to find a different solution to achieve the same result but with a much smaller file size. I would like to use Google Web Designer to create the animation, but I am open to other options as well.

Hi there,

I would think you could add it using an <iframe> with its src pointing to the .html that you would need to upload to say a child theme

Hi
You can try the animated webp.
