Google Says My Mobile Text Size Is Too Small

I just got this notice from the Gods at Google.

Text too small to read

My questions are: what size do y'all suggest. And how do I go about fixing this?

You're currently using 17px, which is good for content text size.

Did they give you any other details? Maybe it's something other than your content?

i ran this mobile friendly test and it passed :

This supposedly uses the same test as search console, and would have highlighted the issue if it there was one.

The best thing to do is to make sure that the site is well optimized. Google doesn't like waiting for additional requests for stylesheets or scripts which sometimes leads to these false reports.We provide some tips on how to do that:
