I just got this notice from the Gods at Google.

    ****
New issue detected on [my websitename]
    To owner of [my website],
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 new issue of type Mobile Usability.
The following issues were found on your site:
    Text too small to read
    *****

My questions are: what size do y’all suggest. And how do I go about fixing this?

You’re currently using 17px, which is good for content text size.

Did they give you any other details? Maybe it’s something other than your content?

That’s all it says. When I go to the Google console, it is no more helpfull, but gives the following page as an example

    Hi there,

i ran this mobile friendly test and it passed :

    https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?utm_source=gws&utm_medium=onebox&utm_campaign=suit&id=atbZx53GBIyyRc3sbiaLLA

This supposedly uses the same test as search console, and would have highlighted the issue if it there was one.

The best thing to do is to make sure that the site is well optimized. Google doesn’t like waiting for additional requests for stylesheets or scripts which sometimes leads to these false reports. We provide some tips on how to do that:
