Hi Guys,

I am experincing an issue with my site, I am using a event manager plugin and previously it used to load google map at the bottom of every single event page. But now I am experiencing issu randomly in which google map doesnt load at the bottom of the single event page. It is blank white spaace instead. However on the search event page(Search Event Page) the google map loads all the time.

I requested support from my hosting provider (siteground), plugin developers, professional wordpress developers, google api support but no one can find the issue. I want to know if it issue with the theme, because google map loads randomly on single event page, but all the time on the search event page. There is no issue with api or anything. If i clear cache everytime, then google map appears also. However I played with cache settings using Siteground OPtimizer but nothing works

Regards

Hi there,

there is nothing within the Theme that would interfere with the loading of a google map or any content.

The google map looks to be lazy loaded, i would begin by debugging potential Javascript conflicts.
First thing would be to move the single event map outside of the Accordion - as that is the one noticeable difference to it and the search event page.

Hi,

I have used this same setup for almost a year now and this issue only started happening for the last few weeks.

Cheers

I can only advise on what i see.
The Google Map gets injected using Javascript.
On the pages it doesn't display that script is not working.
There are no errors in the console related to the maps when it doesn't load..
Which in my mind says the script is OK - but for whatever reason it didn't find what it was looking for. And therefore did nothing.

The reasons for this could be many. It could be other scripts interfering. Which could have been from an update from one of the many plugins installed on the site. It could be update to the Google Maps API script... lots of moving parts.

You could try my above idea to see if it makes any difference.
