Google Font supported in Generate Blocks Typography tool but not GP Customizer

I am trying to use a Google Font as a default for the site and set it in the Generate Press Theme Customizer (Typography); however, it cannot find the font I'm wishing to use. BUT when I'm inside the page editor and editing a specific block (I'm actually doing this inside the Global Styles - GB Pro - but it appears in both areas), under Typography, I can add a Google Font to the Headline and it DOES find the GF I'm wanting to use.
So... this works BUT, then there is an unexpected Cumulative Layout Shift that I believe is being caused by this inconsistency in directives. While relatively minor (.308) it is making it so that my otherwise very likely #lighthouseperfect website scores only a 95 for performance... I realize that a 95 is a great number, but I have just finished building my 6th client website using GP Premium and GB Pro, and they are all lighthouseperfect (100s across the board with the celebratory fireworks), and I don't want to settle for anything less when I know it is possible!
Is there anyway to utilize a similar search tool (to that being used in the GB block editor) for the GP Customizer so I can set-it and forget-it?
Thank you for your time and energy and for creating such an amazing set of tools!

Hi there,

you can use the snippet provided here to add the missing font to the Customizer list:

The next theme update includes an overhaul to the Typography module - which will allow you to add any font you like in a similar fashion to GB.

CLS - sounds like a font-display property is at play. Happy to take a look to see whats happening if you can share a link to the site.
