[Resolved] Google Ads display issue

Hi Tom and team

Using tag manager I’m sending some ads through, currently to a test site. The thing missing on the ads is the little close button that normally appears on the top right of the image. Is it possible that something in GP could be blocking this? Seems unlikely?

Interestingly when I click on the theme’s ‘customize’ area the missing button is actually visible. Does this give a clue as to the problem? I’ve tried turning off all plugins – no change. Why is it that it would be visible in the customise mode and not on the site?

This is most likely not a GP issue, but would be useful if you could rule this out for me and if possible give a suggestion as to where to investigate next (assuming something comes to mind).

Hi Mike,

I would think this isn’t a GP issue either.

You can actually confirm this by quickly switching to a twenty series WP theme and see if the issue still exists.

If so it might be worth checking with Google ads team.
