Getting featured images to look the same on the home page as they do on post pag

Hey guys,
I'm still struggling to have featured images not be cut off on mobile. When you go to the post, the featured image looks great. On the home page (remembering the issue is only on mobile) it cuts off much of the image. I brought this up before and the suggestion was to edit the CSS. However, this changes how it looks on desktop and still doesn't quite solve the problem. How can I make these featured images look like they do on the post page? Thanks for any help.

Problem being is the solution to the previous image was to make the featured image taller to stop the text cutting off. In this instance you need the image to be shorter, so it has a wider aspect ratio to display all the text..... the best solution is to either avoid having text over an image, or use one of the images that currently works as a template, so as the text occupies the same space...
