When searching the GP support forum (https://generatepress.com/support), the search result entries can be really verbose. It would be great if just a short snippet of the content were included to make it easier to scan the results. This is especially true when people include a long section of code in their post. I also don’t expect to get the latest response to a topic in the search results, but would expect the initial post entry so the search result has context. I really try to search before creating a new support post, but am finding it tough to quickly sort through search results. Maybe something close to this: https://wordpress.org/search/search+bar/?forums=1

It might also help if there were keyword tags to help filter (e.g. search, header, footer, typography, etc.).

    Thanks for considering the above.

I also don’t think there’s a link to the support forum main page from the support forum search results page. I have to hunt it down in the primary nav menu.

Here’s an example of a search with a really long result (CSS code): https://generatepress.com/forums/search/mobile+body+font/

I support this, especially about those long posts with code.

Yea, this can definitely be a pain. Sometimes it helps to see the entire post (at least for me, when I’m looking for a specific solution), however, there should be some sort of cut off. I’ll see what I can do 🙂
