Generatepress sections no longer working after Fontawesome latest update

Hello
Earlier today Fontawesome had an update and all of a sudden Generatepress's sections no longer load the textarea of the editor
It's completely blank

Is there a conflict between Fontawesome and Generatepress that can cause this issue?
In the console we see these errors

Not sure if they are related?
Is it possible to fix this so we can continue using Generatepress's sections with Fontawesome? We have a big site that relies on sections and not sure what could be causing Generatepress's sections to not load like this?

seems other users are experiencing errors with the latest update of Font Awesome:

I would suggest rolling back to the previous plugin version until they resolve the problem.
