GeneratePress looks incompatible with Shortcode Exec PHP

Hello Tom
I use the "Shortcode Exec PHP" extension to include in one page, the thumbnail, excerpt and a link "Read more" of another page.
With GP theme, this extension just generates no output. I have deactivated all my extensions, "GP Premium" as well, but no better result.
Could I sent you a temporary admin login details to support@generatepress.com so you can take a look?

Do you have a link to the plugin? I can't find it on WordPress.org.
Oops! It's not available any more and I haven't noticed that for years.

Done by Par Marcel Bokhorst but the plug, page on his blog is also broken

I should definitely use another plugin. Would you have one to recommend for working with GP?
