Hi,
When using the GenerateBlocks Container block, if I enable “Make page full-width”, it’s making all the other containers within that page full-width as well.
Is that how it supposed to function? Shouldn’t it just make that single Container block go full width?
Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,

Yes.

That’s not how it works unfortunately. If you want one full width block in a page, then the entire container needs to be full width. And if you want some contained containers in that full width page, you would just need to use contained blocks with a set container width.
Let me know if this helps ๐

Hi,
Still a bit unclear. So on the following page I created three different Container blocks and I enabled full-width on the Third one, but it applied to all of them.

Is it not possible to make just 1 out of the 3 containers to be full width?

Yes, I read through that part and still unclear.
So this is the part that confuses me. I have three independent block Containers with three different background colours, which tells me they are independent of one another.
However, if I go to any of the Containers and enable full-width, it automatically enables full-width for everything within that page.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t these block Containers be stand-alone as mentioned in the article link you sent me? Meaning, if you enable full-width on one of the containers it shouldn’t automatically make every container within that page full-width.

StaffCustomer SupportCan you set this option to Contained in the first container and let me have a look?
https://www.screencast.com/t/jWDCsET7DRight now all three of them have that setting set to Full width as far as I could tell.

Ok, I sorted it out now. My understanding of the inner and outer container was off.
So if I set the out container to Full Width and enable the “Make page full-width” then everything on that page with that property will turn into actual full width.
Sorry for any wasted time!
