Generate Press Pro - Hooks - Pages > Page - Not working

Hi all,
So I have a problem and is really odd. I have the latest from GP and Elementor (versions). I did a section design with elementor and I want to put it above the menu with GP Elements in hooks.
If I put everything in the Display Rules, Location except Page > All Pages, it's working. I want to put this section only for the home page.
Can you help?
Hi there,
I'm not sure if I understand.
So you only want this element to display on the home page?
I made a template section with Elementor and I want to display it only on 1 page, the home page.
The way I do this is using GeneratePress, Elements, Hooks.
If I go in Elements > DisplayRules > Location > and choose Page > All Pages or only the home page it's not working... if I choose Entire Site, it's working.
Hi there,
in the Display Rules, have you tried setting it to Front Page ?
Hi David,
If I put everything in the Display Rules, Location except Page > All Pages or Home page or another single page, it’s working. I want to put this section only for the home page.
Just use a single display rule and set it to Front Page. This is the way WP works, whatever page you have assigned as your home page, whether that be the blog or a static page no longer has a full permalink. So the Front Page rule defines that.
What if I want to have something only for the About page for example? Or for all pages?
Thing is that is not working at all for Pages > 1 page or All pages.
How are those pages created? Are they using the Elementor Canvas or Full Width template?
Default. I've used GP for full-width the content section.
Can you link me to the Site?
I can't bcz. it's on my local. But here is a video: https://www.screencast.com/t/J6HVCRDgpY
Try changing the hook to before_header let me know.
Nope. Not working!
So can you test the following:
1. Use the before_content hook ( this is to isolate any issues with the front page header )
2. Check Execute Short Code
3. Display Rules > Front Page
Save this then clear any caches you have.
Then visit the page and clear your browser cache. Let me know.
