Gateway Timeout

everytime i preview a page i get a "Gateway Timeout".... thoughts?
Is this specific to GeneratePress or does it happen when the default WordPress theme is used (Twenty Seventeen)?
Possible causes:
- PHP configuration
- Host issues
- One or more plugin conflicts or just a badly written plugin
- Cloudflare or other CDN
Check your server is configured properly, confirm the host is not experiencing network downtime, disable plugins, disable Cloudflare and check your site and server error logs.
