    Hello,

I have some product pics (Woocommerce – the 600×600 view) that seem to be fuzzy when viewed from a PC browser until you resize the browser or if in a maximized window, switching to “restore down” or vice verse.

    Here’s one of the products.

It seems to be common across all of these:

Any advise of what I may be doing wrong?

In the Woocommerce settings under customize theme, I have product thumbnails set to 300 and main image at 600. Ratio is 1:1 and I upload images at 1080×1080 so they can be zoomed in on.

    Hi there,

    Can you try 650 x 650?

    Let me know πŸ™‚

That seems to have solved the problem.

Any idea why 600 wasn’t good?

    And, thank you!

Because this the image is actually 650 by 650:

    Interesting!

Is there a way, other than digging into code, that I could have figured this out myself? Also, is 300 right for the thumbnails? They seem OK but they’re small so maybe I just can’t see the blur. πŸ˜‰

    Not I’m aware of.

Simply right click on the image and use browser inspector tool should tell you the size as my screenshot shows.

We are always happy to help with simple requests like this though.

The thumbnails are indeed 300 by 300 πŸ™‚
