Functionality suggestion

Hello, friends
I would like to suggest a feature that I think would be interesting. At least I have missed it and have not been able to do it:
It's about being able to choose a language and exclude the rest in Elements blocks and filters.
I don't know if it would be possible, but the idea would be that it would work at least with the most popular or used plugins like Polylang and WPML.
I attach a quick mockup

Hi there,
I am not overly familiar with language plugins but I believe that is kind of how WPML already works. ie. you create an Element for a specific language - is that not the case ?
Hello, David
It is possible but I don't really know because I use Polylang and with Polylang it is not possible to create an element to display only in a specific language.
I am not that familiar with either plugin, but i thought in Polylang you can create an element, as you would a post or page, and assign it a language ?
No, at least as far as I know during creation (I don't know if there is an alternative way to do it), the only available options visible now are to include all or exclude all.
But the translation options do appear:
Now I'll try translating an element to a language to check if it applies only to that language and I'll let you know.
Good news.
Yes, it works by creating the translation of the Element. I have tested it and it is already displayed in the translated language.
We can consider the issue solved.
Apologies for my clumsiness 😛
Glad to hear you found the solution - and thank you for sharing it :)
Thanks to you
:)
