Hello, I would like to know how to have my web page with full width for colors and slides but that the content is restricted for example to a width of 1140px. That this width meets all the content, header, content, footer.

I do not know if I explain myself. Forgive my English, I use the translator.
    Thank you

    Hi there,

I’m not 100% sure what you mean but sounds like you are looking for the container width option?

Keep in mind that if you are using Elementor, then you can use the page builder container options to remove the padding from GP and just let Elementor handle it:

Let me know if this helps ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Leo, thanks for the reply. But I think you have not understood me well.

I know that the container can be set to 100% in generatepress and also from Elementor to limit the central content. But I would also like to center the content of the header and the footer with a maximum width of 1140px but maintaining the full width of the entire website so that the colors and images keep 100%.

What I want to achieve is what the PIVOT generatepress template. That all the content is centered in a maximum width but the images occupy the whole screen

You are referring to the “Did you know our consultations are completely free and confidential?” in Pivot?

If you are using Elementor, then you need to set GP’s container to full width as I suggested above, then inside Elementor, you should be able to create an outer container for the picture and inner container for the text.

For details on how to use Elementor, you will have to ask their support unfortunately.
