Force wordpress to use a specific image size in post

Hey
Is there a way to force Wordpress to use a specific image size (i.e medium large or large) in the posts?
I select, for instance, Large in the editor and then the full sized image is shown.

Hi Angel,
Is this for the image contents added using the image block?
If so, the theme doesn't have any control as to what size the image blocks use. It's either user-defined if an image dimension is added or "full" if the image dimension is kept blank or if the image is set directly from image URL.
You may want to consider applying this solution though. I'm not sure how well it would work.
