Footer width isn't full even though set

I'm working with a footer in Customizer > Widgets > Footer Bar.
I've created a 3-section GB grid.
The footer bar does not extend to the full width of the display.
In Customizer > Layout > Footer:
Footer width is set to "Full"
Inner Footer Width is set to "Full"
Footer widget area padding are all zero
Footer Padding is all zero
Why does the footer not extend the full width of the display, or at least to the boundaries of my content area?
Second issue, different but related to footer:
The copyright section is blank, but I'm still getting a copyright on my footer.

I don't think using the footer bar widget area is the best method here.
Can you try using the 3 footer widget area instead?

Or you can create a footer template as it looks like you will be removing the copyright bar as well:
