Hi Kenneth,
This isn't something the theme controls as Appearance > Widgets, as the actual widgets added, are from WordPress core functions.
But to help you out:
Any chance you could provide any screen capture or temporary site credential on what shows up on Appearance > Widgets so we have an idea of what's happening?
You can use the private information text field to provide the details.
Let us know.
please find the credentials below...
Just a note: I added the footer widget details via Appearance>widgets. Then used the available Gutenberg block in the footer widget. Now I do not see the entries to edit.
Hi there,
can you disable the Gutenberg plugin - it shouldn't be used on live sites, as it contains experimental features, and in the most recent update they changed the Widget system.
Thank you for the quick reply. I am afraid I could deactivate the Gutenberg plugin. Because I am using the Gutenberg editor (blocks) on all my pages.
My knowledge is limited. I also understand by default Gutenberg editor is part of WordPress. If I remove the Gutenberg plugin will the blocks used remain intact and my pages will not be affected?
WordPress core includes all the Blocks you require, the plugin is not needed - it simply adds new features for testing that may or may not be included in upcoming WP updates.
In a way good this problem occurred :). Now I can reduce a plugin.
Thank you so much for the superb support and over & above the high quality theme.
Glad to be of help :)
