Footer Widget

Hi there,

you can use the Footer Widgets. To mimic that site:

1. Go Customizer > Layout > Footer: set Footer Widgets to 3.
2. Customizer > Widgets > Footer Widget 1: + New widget, Choose Custom HTML, Set your Title and enter your content in the field provided.
3. Repeat step 2 for the other 2 Widgets.

So i don't get this, I need to remove disable file edit from wordpress config

Will this compromise my security, considering it is recommended setting.

If some malicious individual gained access to your Admin login, which is very bad to start with, then they could add code that targets the server.

You may want to use one of the many author box plugins available on the WP repo.
Something like:
