Footer text got reverted after the latest update

Hi folks, I updated to Premium 2.0.3 and now my site footer has reverted to the default "Built with GeneratePress" text (earlier I had some custom text in here). I went to Theme Editor - /wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=footer.php&theme=generatepress and tried to update the Footer HTML but the layout and code format seems to have changed with 2.x
So now my question is - how do I update the footer text (change the default to my custom text). Please help, thanks.

You should never edit the theme's core files as the changes would be erased as you just found out.
