[Resolved] Footer background color does not include the footer widget area?

Hi, I don’t understand why the footer background color on the Copyright section does not include the background when a footer widget is inserted?

That way, the footer widget content appears more like a part of the main content than part of the footer.
Why does the footer background color not embrace the widget area as well?

ok, I can see there is a color option for adding background color to the widget area, i guess it makes sense then.
