Fixing LCP

Hello - I have browsed the forums and tried many things but have not found an answer to my issue here. I am having an issue with my LCP on Google PSI. After digging further with Webpagetest.org (screenshot attached), it appears the issue may be with the two fonts I am using (Lato and Playfair Display). I tried switching the font settings to Fallback and Swap but neither change improved the score. These are the only two fonts I am using.
Is there any fix for this? Thank you so much.

those are two font files that are 404 ing - have you tried installing the fonts locally ?
Hi David - Thanks for getting back. I tried deleting the fonts and using just system and inherit fonts and the issue persists. When I change the theme to a different theme, the issue seems to resolve and the LCP is drastically improved. Is there something I can adjust in the GeneratePress settings to remedy this?

I am still seeing the 2 x fonts being requested.
Did you install them locally ? as the code used to do that needs to be removed.
Hello, apologies I’m not sure what you mean. Is there a thread on how to install them locally?
I used one of the pre-made themes that came with GeneratePress. I’m not sure why it’s still requesting them if they’re not in use.
Are you using any optimization/caching plugins ?
As the old fonts are being preloaded which isn't something the theme wouldn't add
