Fixed Table of Contents

I created a test blog and installed the Plugin Easy Table of Contents. It supposedly supports fixed TOC's but unfortunately doesn't work with this theme. Is there anyway I can have a fixed TOC on the left side of the text?
Hi there,
I'm not seeing anything from the code that should fix the table there.
So does it work with a default twenty series theme?
Have you checked with the plugin author?
Let me know :)
Hi. I am trying to use the same plugin.
In its settings page, it has a setting called: Widget Affix Selector
I am setting it to #left-sidebar
The instructions say:
To enable the option to affix or pin the Table of Contents widget enter the theme's sidebar class or id.
Since every theme is different, this can not be determined automatically. If you are unsure how to find the sidebar's class or id, please ask the theme's support persons.
Eg: .widget-area or #sidebar
When I click oen of the TOC links, the whole screen, including the left sidebar and the main content area, both scroll down. So I have to return to the top of the page to click something else. I want the TOC in the left sidebar to stay visible in the top left.
This is for making soem super long content pages.
Thanks for any advice,
Jamie
GP's left sidebar ID would be #left-sidebar.
Are you simply trying to have a sticky sidebar? If so maybe this plugin would work better?
