My blog category title has a post next to it in 2 column blog mode, which is ugly. I need to have my first column post drop down to be in it’s intended position, together with the other posts, in the columns.

Thanks in advance for any help…

What version of GP Premium are you using?

I should be using the most updated version. It says GeneratePress 1.3.29. I bought the whole premium plugin too, if that is relevant.

What about the GP Premium version? Are you using 1.2.83?

No, apparently automatic updates isn’t set up. I’m using GP Premium 1.2.79. I contacted my host and they are sort of acting clueless… I may have to update manually, but do you think that should fix the problem, or just the first step?

Also, if I have to update manually, for future reference, do you update GP Premium every time you update the free version?

    Updating will fix it: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/updating-add-ons/#manual-update

Then add your license key and you’ll get future updates inside the Dashboard.

GP (theme) and GP Premium don’t usually get updated at the same time.

I think I can get automatic updates set up; I need the API name to which the outgoing connections should be allowed for the automatic updates.

    It should just be https://generatepress.com.

If PHP cURL is enabled on your server it will work.

Yeah, they said it should be working, but it’s not, so I gave up and manually updated today, LOL.

    My problem is solved…

However, I have a support ticket still open trying to set up automatic updates. Hopefully, I can get that worked out.

    Thank you for your support,

    Travis
