Firefox 400 error
5 replies · Started by Rob on May 28, 2019
Hi,
I have a couple of websites that display fine with Chrome or IE. But, they return 400 errors with Firefox on my computer and others. This is sort of a new problem - I noticed it a few months ago.
Here is one example:

Any thoughts on how to fix this traffic-crushing problem?
Thanks

Hi there,
can you visit that page on firefox if you're logged in to the site?
Hi David,
Thanks for the reply.
No, I can't. Firefox just displays an error page. I tried to play with different url adjustments like removing https, going to the home page, and what not.
All error messages. Other people have reported the same problem so I guess it is not a cookie problem.
Some time ago I switched the WP site to https - could that have caused a problem I wonder.
Cheers,
rob
So bad with login - one issue is related to Ajax scripts being restricted to logged in users. So we can dismiss that.
Cookies - well they can get cached by your server cache so have your tried flushing that?
Thanks
I'll try it.
You're welcome
