Featured Image size variation in Page Hero element

Heya
I've been trying to make a page hero for all my posts. I'm using the Dispatch theme, although now modified with CSS and other customization.
For some reason the featured image on my posts does not convert to the set page hero image size. I can modify the width, but not the height, so some pictures turn out awfully long on the post while others fit well.
In the element section, the width is greyed out at "768" so maybe it has to do with some CSS code that I cant quite pinpoint.
Is there a way for me to have every featured image the same size, without compromising image quality?
Hi there,
you may want to consider using the GP Dynamic Image Block to display the image, instead of adding the featured image as a Container background. This will display 100% of the image.
